Toxico-Pharmacological Tests and Clinical Studies
The tests on KappaElastin™ were carried out at major European University Research Centers:
Biochemical studies
Histological studies
Pharmacocinetic studies
Morphological studies
Toxicological studies
Clinical studies using Indentometry.
After one week of use, tests proved that KappaElastin™ cream increased both skin moisture (12.4%) and skin elasticity (7%).
KappaElastin™ has been also tested in open clinical trials where it was provided as the only treatment:
* To young and adult patients
* On all types of skin: Dry, Oily, and Normal.
Tolerance Test
The test was carried out at Saint Louis Hospital.
The cream with KappaElastin™ was well tolerated.
Neither any reaction of primary irritation, nor any allergy symptom within the test period could be observed.
Consequently the patients tested did not show any sensitivity reaction to the KappaElastin™ cream and its components.
